Each year an Outer Banks Bike Week is held in April. This is a bike week traveling the same stretch of road that was traveled by Pirates 300 years ago. History abounds, all of the Outer Banks activities are available during the Outer Banks bike week. The tourist season is just beginning and all the campgrounds and attractions are open. Great food is offered around the area and live entertainment is sponsored by local bike dealers.
New bikes are shown for you to view and dream of purchasing. There is a poker run, and Outer Banks Bikini contest as well as the general plundering and partying. Do not forget the local activities of scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming and general sightseeing. There is much fun
